Scudder Investments
Since 1996 we have managed a golf program for Kemper Funds which is now Scudder Investments. The program was conceived to build awareness of the Scudder brand, targeting brokers who market the Scudder products and end-users who purchase financial products. The program has placed the Kemper/Scudder logo on the cap and/or shirt of PGA, LPGA and Senior PGA players during televised broadcasts. On an annual basis, the resulting television exposure has exceeded a media equivalency of $3mm.
Another essential component of this program has been the opportunity for Kemper/Scudder brokers to attend private golf outings, hosted by the endorsed golfers, at some of the finest clubs in the nation. Over the past eight years, over 3,000 key brokers have participated in these events. Kemper/Scudder has seen a sales increase of 35% from the brokers who have attended the outings.

As a result, this program has grown into the largest sampling program in General Mills history. Sales are up 7%-40% in key sampling markets and the brand has seen double digit sales growth annually over the past three years.
